Emily Wachter Early Intervention is seeking a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist to join our dedicated, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you’ll work directly with children birth to five and their families, delivering compassionate, in-home care that supports developmental progress through nutrition.
Make a Difference In This Role:
Provide Expert Nutrition Care:
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Create individualized nutrition plans that consider medical needs, feeding challenges, and family preferences.
Empower Families:
Offer in-home guidance on age-appropriate nutrition, feeding strategies, and meal planning to help caregivers confidently support their child’s health.
Collaborate Across Disciplines:
Work closely with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to develop well-rounded, child-centered care plans.
Be a Family Resource:
Advocate for families facing nutrition-related challenges and connect them to relevant supports and services.
Stay Informed:
Keep your knowledge sharp by staying up to date on evidence-based pediatric nutrition practices and early intervention standards.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
Experience with pediatric populations or early intervention preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for empowering families and promoting developmental health
